# 1. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Hearts with marshmallow filling

Cute, simple and sweet. Absolutely perfect for a Valentine’s Day treat.

Ingredients
-Marshmallow fluff
– Good quality dark chocolate
– Either red candy melts OR a red candy pen
– Red disco dust
– Strawberries
-tooth picks

Instructions
Wash and cut strawberries down the middle
Take the stems out
Take a small knife and cut out the middle of each half
Take a paper towel and pick up some of the moister in the strawberries
Place the strawberry halves flat side down and stick a toothpick through to attach two together
Flip the strawberry over and use a butter knife to fill with marshmallow fluff
Melt dark chocolate by breaking up the chocolate and melting it in a double boiler with heat on low. Stir until melted
Turn the berries over, remove toothpicks and dollop chocolate on top and spread it down the sides Using a cooling rack is very helpful in this process
If you want to decorate them, use a red candy pen to drizzle on the tops and then red disco dust on top of that.

# 2. Candied Strawberries

Crunchy and sweet on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside. Yum!

Ingredients
2 cups gran­u­lated sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup corn syrup (this aids in inhibiting the formation of sugar crystals)
Strawberries (about 15–20, depend­ing on their size)
Wooden skewers
Block of Styrofoam

Instructions
Wash strawberries, dry them well and stick them on the wooden skewers through the top. Set aside
In a small heavy sauce pan place sugar, water and corn syrup. Stir it well then turn on medium heat. Let it be until it reaches 295 degrees
As soon as it reaches that temperature take the heat off
Quickly start to dip the strawberries, the quicker the thinner the candy shell (what you want)
Place the strawberry and skewer upside down in the Styrofoam block to let the candy harden

# 3. Frozen Yogurt Covered Strawberries

Ingredients
Greek vanilla yogurt
Strawberries
Instructions
Slice strawberries in half
Spoon Greek yogurt onto a shallow dish and dip the strawberries in
Place strawberries in a plastic container line with parchment paper and freeze

# 4. Chocolate Cheesecake Filled Strawberries

For those who aren’t as concerned about being good this holiday, this looks amazing.

Ingredients

1 pint of strawberries
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 oz softened cream cheese
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup whipped topping
3 tablespoons chocolate
3 tablespoons chocolate cookie crumbs

Instructions
Prepping the strawberries
Wash and dry strawberries
Cut the tops off and hollow out using a small spoon or strawberry huller
Place 3 tablespoons of chocolate chips in a small dish and place in the microwave and melt for 20 seconds and then 15 second increments until melted completely
Slice a little off the tips of the strawberries so they can stand
Dip bottoms of strawberries into melted chocolate and then into the cookie crumbs. Place standing up on parchment lined pan
Chocolate Cheesecake Filling
Place ¾ cup of chocolate and melt for 35 seconds and then in 20 second increments until chocolate is melted. Let it cool
With the mixer on medium combine cream cheese, butter, vanilla, cocoa powder and sugar until fluffy. Add in cooled chocolate and mix on low until incorporated. Add whipped topping and stir/mix just until combined
Place chocolate cheesecake filling in a Ziploc bag or a decorating dispenser. Fill up the strawberries
Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 4 hours

# 5. Strawberry Pizza

Who would have thought Valentine’s Day could be as easy as pie?!

Ingredients
1 cup butter, room temperature
1¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
2¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 ounce bottle red food coloring or 2 teaspoons Americolor Super Red plus 1 tablespoon water
for cream cheese icing
¼ cup butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add in eggs, one at a time.
2. In a small dish, make a paste of the vinegar and cocoa powder, add to batter. Add in vanilla.
3. Stir together flour, salt and baking soda.
4. Alternating, add flour mixture and buttermilk to batter, starting and ending with flour. Add in food coloring.
5. Spoon batter into a well-greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes, testing for doneness using a toothpick, when inserted in center of cake it comes out clean. Let cake rest in pan for 30-40 minutes before inverting on to cooling rack to cool completely.
