Sticking to a healthy “fertility-friendly” diet is very difficult especially on thanksgiving! These recipes might just be perfect for you and they still have that yummy holiday goodness of thanksgiving. We have scoured the web for some recipes that include foods with those essential nutrients and placed them below. Give these thanksgiving Recipes a try this year.

Pomegranate Salad:


4 cups arugula

½ cup pomegranate seeds

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar


In a large salad bowl, combine arugula and pomegranate seeds

Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar

Toss and serve


 Cranberry Cherry Relish


1 (8 ounce) package fresh cranberries

1 (10 ounce) package frozen cherries

1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

10 drops stevia


Place cranberries, cherries, orange juice and stevia in a saucepan

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat

Simmer about 20 minutes, until berries have burst and sauce has thickened

Transfer to a bowl and serve


Mashed Cauliflower


2 heads cauliflower, washed and cut into large pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

½ teaspoon celtic sea salt


Steam the cauliflower pieces until very tender

Puree cauliflower in a food processor, add in olive oil and salt

Reheat in a casserole dish in the oven at 350° for 20 minutes


Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread


1 1/4 cups Teff Flour
1/2 cup Tapioca Flour
1 teaspoon Xanthan Gum
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3 teaspoons (dry) Ener-G Egg replacer (omit the water)
2 tablespoons Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Ginger Powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
1 Stick of Melted Earth Balance Butter (1/2 Cup)
5 tablespoons Organic Apple sauce
1 can Organic Pumpkin Puree
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup Chocolate Chips (Enjoy Life- Vegan Dairy/Nut/Soy Free Chocolate Chips)

Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl mix all of the dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl- mix the wet ingredients- (butter, applesauce, Pumpkin and Vanilla extract)
Pour the wet into the dry and mix really well. Pour in the chocolate chips and mix in.
Coat a bread pan with non-stick spray and pour in the (slightly thick) batter.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Allow to cool for a few minutes
